About NGO

Shri Jay Bhagwan Education and Charitable Seva Sangh (SJBECSS) is a non-governmental, non profit organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1950.

The organisation has been set up by a group of seven youngsters from middle class families in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, who have a vision, passion and commitment to help the poor and needy people of society and lost, stray and abandoned animals. SJBECSS members believe that they can reach out to a greater number of people and animals in need of help under the auspices of the organisation rather than individually.

Our Aims

To help poor students have access to basic education. We shall be sponsoring whole or part of their tuition fees, and providing them with text books, exercise books and other basic writing materials and other stationery. SJBECSS believes that basic education is a fundamental right of children and youth of today. The success and development of our country depends heavily on an educated population. Our mission is not only to sponsor children’s educational needs but to support them until they are gainfully employed.

To provide food, water and medical assistance for homeless animals. SJBECSS believes that though animals cannot communicate with humans, they are such agreeable friends – they ask no questions and they pass no criticisms. Why then should we deny them their basic their rights to food and medical help?

To provide at least one meal per day and potable water to those who are in need.

To provide basic medical services to individuals of society who cannot afford them.
